Meet the 10 Businesses Competing for $40,000 in Prizes at the 2023 AltCap Your Biz Pitch Competition
AltCap has announced the 10 finalists for its annual AltCap you Biz Pitch Competition taking place at this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City.
These 10 businesses will deliver live pitches on Nov. 16 at Plexpod Westport at Park 39 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City for a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize.
“The judges and our team were blown away by the passion, creativity and impact of this year’s applicants,” wrote AltCap in a press release announcing the finalists. “Judges deliberated for many hours over three days to review nearly 80 entrepreneurs’ pitches.”
The 10 finalists for the 2023 competition are:

- Nexodesk (Kansas City, KS)
- The AI Hub: An Art Incubator (Kansas City, MO)
- The Black Pantry (Kansas City, MO)
- The Next Paige (Kansas City, MO)
- Venboo (Kansas City, MO)
- Vine Street Brewing Co. (Kansas City, MO)
- Wrax (Pleasanton, KS)
- Yes! Athletics (Topeka, KS)
