See Which 6 KC Companies Rank Among Inc.’s List of Best Workplaces for 2023
Inc. Magazine is out with its 2023 Best Workplaces list, and six companies in the Kansas City-area made the cut — ranging from a recruiting firm that specializes in finance to a tech firm that offers communication software for churches.
The magazine honored 591 companies across the nation. To qualify, companies had to complete the Quantum Workplace employee survey, employ at least five permanent employees, have been in business for a minimum of two years and generate less than $1 billion in total annual revenue.
The list honors hundreds of companies across the country that have “cracked the culture code.” The ranking is determined by an audit of each organization’s benefits and the number of employee satisfaction survey responses.
Here are this year’s Kansas City winners:
- 27Global, a software consulting company based in Leawood, Kansas, that provides software engineering, cloud operations, data engineering and consulting services
- Chief of Staff Kansas City, a recruiting firm in the Kansas City, Missouri, neighborhood of Brookside Park that specializes in fields including finance, administrative and sales
- Crema, a startup based in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, that offers design and technology consultancy
- CrowdPharm, a full-service health care marketing agency based in Kansas City, Missouri
- Crux KC, a marketing firm for small- to mid-sized businesses in downtown Kansas City
- Text In Church, a tech firm based in Parkville, Missouri, that offers communication software for churches
