Women’s Business Center LaunchU
Who’s it for? Entrepreneurs who want to develop a startup plan that will help them succeed in business.
This eight-week program helps position business owners so that they can fund their businesses and develop a network of resources. Subject matter experts like accountants, lawyers and marketing professionals share their knowledge.
When: Mondays 6 – 9 p.m., Sept. 20 – Nov. 9
Cost: $75 for individuals who meet low- to moderate-income guidelines; sliding scale tuition for all other participants
ELEVATIONLAB™ Tech Venture
Who’s it for? Entrepreneurs who are on the cusp of developing cutting-edge tech or science-based business.
This nine-week program is designed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs and is designed to give tech and science-based entrepreneurs a proven framework and network of connections to help grow a great idea into the next viable innovation.
When: Thursdays 3 – 6 p.m., Sept. 23 – Nov. 18
Cost: $649; scholarships may be available to take the course for $75
ELEVATIONLAB™ New Venture
Who’s it for? Aspiring entrepreneurs who want a realistic perspective on whether or not people want to buy what they want to sell.
This five-week class is fast paced, interactive and engaging. The course offers an accelerated timeline for entrepreneurs to get their businesses started as soon as possible. Group activities and coaching from professional business counselors help participants develop their business plans. Materials include FastTrac, GrowthWheel® and other activities.
When: Tuesdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Oct. 5 – Nov. 2
Cost: $649; scholarships may be available to take the course for $150
