The Inventors Center of Kansas City (ICKC) is a nonprofit organization with more than 1,000 members and a monthly meeting attendance of 50 to 80 people. ICKC provides a learning forum for inventor/entrepreneurs and those in allied fields, benefiting all involved. Our purpose is to provide innovative education and support that will stimulate members to guide their ides through the idea development process from validation, evaluation, competitive analysis, business planning, funding, prototyping, patenting, marketing, distribution and licensing.
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month except for November (2nd Tuesday) and December (No Meeting). Our meetings begin promptly at 6:30 in the Arthur Stilwell Room at Union Station. There's plenty of free parking out front. Ignore the meters after business hours. Walk in and take the escalator downstairs. Walk to the right to find another escalator going down another flight. You've arrived! Now, buckle in for a presentation from (typically) two inventors or someone imparting information that is critical for inventors to know. Afterwords, there is an opportunity for YOU to get the specific information, connection or advice that you are needing to move your invention forward. Our group is relaxed, resourceful and is recognized as one of the best inventor clubs in the nation. Lucky you.
