About

BioKansas is a preeminent life science organization and voice of the bioscience community in Kansas and the surrounding region. This area features a robust scientific ecosystem, with three public research universities, six research hospitals, the world-renowned Stowers Research Institute, hundreds of life science companies; and more than 30,000 industry employees working in the private sector.

In addition to being home to a large number of companies spanning human health, Kansas is a global leader in animal health with a focus on preventing and treating diseases in both livestock and companion animals. Our unique programs and events are designed to strengthen connections between private, academic, government and nonprofit organizations to support the success, growth and visibility of the bioscience industry in the heartland of the United States.

BioKansas programs include professional development and educational programs with a specialization in the bioscience industry.
