Miami County, Kansas, is a NetWork Kansas E-Community. That means it has made a commitment to cultivating an entrepreneurial environment by identifying and developing resources to help local entrepreneurs start or grow businesses.

About

Local business owners and startups can apply for a loan through the E-Community Program. These loans are intended to be paired with loans from financial institutions, personal investment and financing from NetWork Kansas resource partners (ex. Certified Development Companies, city/county Local Revolving Loan Funds, Main Street programs, etc.) to complete a funding package for your business.

Goals of the E-Community Partnership

  • Grow a flourishing, sustainable entrepreneurial environment supportive of business startups and expansions
  • Engage and/or develop entrepreneurial resources to meet identified community and business needs
  • Create a revolving loan fund to provide matching loans to entrepreneurs and small businesses with local control of decisions and terms
  • Forge a community vision centered around entrepreneurship as a tool for economic development.

The Miami County, Kansas E-Community is housed under The Paola Chamber of Commerce.
