KC Collective

KC Collective was developed by startup founders for startup founders. Through collective collaboration, the organization leverages its networks to provide introductions, mentorship, generous perks and discounts from partners and the education and resources necessary for Kansas City entrepreneurs to move their business forward.

About

KC Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization launched in spring 2019 by Kansas City-area founders Bo Lais and Donald Hawkins with the goal of leveraging their networks to help peer founders. The group’s first meeting was held March 2019 to conduct member discovery on pain points from Kansas City’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The feedback from this meeting along with the support of corporate, investor and university partners across the Midwest, allowed KC Collective to provide entrepreneurs with community, education, mentorship, advocacy and over $1 million in complimentary member benefits.

 

KC Collective’s mission to empower Kansas City entrepreneurs with the resources of a community promoting seamless connections between talent, ideas, education and capital.
