Meet the Speakers:

Sara Abdulwahab

Sara, an MBA holder in International HRM and CIPD member, is a Business Development Director with a track record spanning government, federal, and private sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. She excels in talent development, performance management, and strategic business growth.

Adept at identifying new business opportunities and building strategic relationships, Sara is well-versed in HR-Tech trends and regulations. Her skills encompass business development, strategy, human resources, and talent management.

Sara’s academic journey includes an MBA from Coventry University London and CIPD qualifications, backed by a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wales, UK.

Eager to participate in discussions on empowering women in the workforce, Sara’s visionary approach promises to inspire change.

Samah Hasan

Leader and strategist, expert in Business Planning, IT Governance, Change Management, Service Improvement and Innovation.
Her passion in inventing new, more powerful and profitable business ideas and turning it into revenue generator projects is my greatest strength.
She wears many hats in my career; Engineer, Analyst, Manager and Strategist. As a result, I have unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges but actual experience shapes my professional values to the following:

Fatema Awadh

Fatema Awadh is a seasoned project & business development professional with 15 years of experience in public and private organizations across various sectors. She currently serves as a Head of Portfolio & Projects at Beyon Connect Bahrain, responsible for strategy, portfolio governance, project oversight and execution for projects in MENA and beyond.

Batool Alkhaja

An experienced regulator with over 20 years of experience in a variety of banking and financial services roles, as well as the real estate sector, a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain, a holder of Series 7 (Investment Representative) Professional Certification and a graduate from Georgetown FinTech Program.The first 6 years of her career were spent as an internal auditor in two financial institutions(Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company and Eskan Bank) rising to the position of Assistant Manager-Internal Audit with the latter institution, followed by 10 years as a regulator at the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), holding senior positions at the Inspection Directorate followed by the Regulatory Policy Unit, where she got the opportunity to present Bahrain at the “Banking & Supervision Committee of the Arab Monetary Fund”, and accomplished several projects in conjunction with the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), and the Information and e-Government Authority (IGA), some of which are the Cloud First National Policy, Crowd Funding, and Financial Technology. In 2018, Batool was seconded to participate in the establishment of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, as Chief of Policy and Strategic Planning, and has been an active member in the formulation and implementation of the National Real Estate Plan 2021-2024, the Compliance and Enforcement Program, Bahrain Valuation Standards based on International Valuation Standards, in addition to a number of resolutions. Batool is currently handling the Polices, Strategic Planning and Projects Managements, as well as Enforcement and AML functions. In 2021, Batool joined the first licensed crypto assets brokerage platform in Bahrain and in the region, as a Director of Public Policy, a company that she proudly dealt with since its inception when she was at the Central Bank of Bahrain.
