Kansas City Entrepreneurs: Share Your Story with Policymakers and Create Change
Are you talking to your policymakers about the importance and impact of entrepreneurship to your local community? If not, you definitely should (because effective policy starts with conversations in the community). But getting that conversation started—and being equipped with the right talking points—is tough when you’re trying to run and grow a business.
KCSourceLink has recently partnered with several entrepreneur networks and resource centers to help gauge the interest in establishing a coalition designed around policy needs for entrepreneurs in Missouri. The goal? Close the dialogue gap around company formation and entrepreneurship between entrepreneurs and policymakers.
And this is where YOU come in:
Take a few minutes to complete this short survey and share your experience as an entrepreneur.
We know supporting entrepreneurs in our metro is critical for our local economy, and we need our policymakers to know that, too. That’s where the Missouri Innovation Policy Network gets to work. The Jefferson City–based grassroots organization focuses on public engagement in policy legislation and provides statewide advocacy data to educate and/or solicit action from our state legislature. By sharing your startup story, you help close the gap between KC’s business owners and state leaders.
