The KC Tech Council is comprised of about 130 member companies,
representing the many facets of the tech industry in the Kansas City area.
While primarily tech companies, we also count many from the legal, marketing,
insurance, financial and other industries as members. Though varied in type
and scale, our members share one important common trait: they recognize the
the important role the tech industry plays in shaping the future economic growth of
our region, and acknowledge that they cannot foster and sustain that growth
on their own.
That’s where we come in. The KC Tech Council divides its work among three
strategic pillars: workforce development, policy advocacy, and industry
access. The involvement and investment of enterprise leaders in technology is
essential for our organization, and Accenture is an exemplary member of this
category.
As Kansas City continues to strive for a competitive, prepared workforce to
service a growing tech ecosystem, our workforce development efforts, both
long and short-term will be vital.
As more tech companies scale, innovate and seek partners our efforts in
industry access will allow them the platform to connect, collaborate and
achieve.
In a changing legislative landscape, our policy advocacy will put first the
interests of Accenture, and all our member companies looking to ensure that
this region’s public policy welcomes and fosters the growth and sustainability
of the industry.
