About

Midwest Small Business Finance provides small businesses with economic development and financial assistance through various programs and loan funds.

SBA 504 Loan Program

The 504 program is designed to promote local economic development by helping healthy, growing businesses finance the acquisition of long-term fixed asset, such as, land, buildings, machinery and equipment. Midwest Small Business Finance offers these services anywhere in the state of Missouri. The assets must be used principally to enable the business to create or retain jobs.

Revolving Loan Fund

The revolving loan fund is a loan program maintained by Midwest Small Business Finance where repayments from loans are returned to the fund to be loaned out again. The focus is to assist healthy existing eligible small business concerns located in Clay and Platte counties in Missouri. Benefits of the program are a low downpayment (typically 10%), below market fixed rate and long-term financing (10 years max). Funds may be used for fixed assets, including machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, and real estate improvements.

Rural Revolving Loan Fund

This is similar to the offering above but exclusive to 20 counties in northwest Missouri.

Intermediary Loan Program

This is a loan program that covers all of Missouri and the eastern third of Kansas.
