The U.S. Small Business Administration’s mission is to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns.


The SBA assists small businesses in meeting their financing needs by enhancing the ability of lenders to provide loans.

It does this by offering a variety of services (access to capital, education, training, technical advice and opportunities for government contracting) using experts in its offices and through partnerships with both public and private organizations.

The Kansas City District Office is unique because it services 89 counties in eastern Kansas and western Missouri.
