Self-contained and self-sufficient, the city is populated with young, well-educated, high income, and highly motivated families.

With 150 years of history, Olathe has prospered over the years. Today, it has become one of the Midwest´s dominant business, economic, and cultural centers. This community of over 120,000 energetic citizens is one of the fastest-growing communities in Kansas, offering businesses and residents the best opportunity for success.

An outstanding central location, an unparalleled transportation network, a nationally-recognized school system, and one of the best-educated workforces in the nation make Olathe an exciting location for families and businesses.

“Partnerships” is the mantra and method this community uses to pursue its goals. It doesn´t take forever to get things done in Olathe, because business, government, and private citizens work together to make things happen.
