Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations

The Department works with businesses regarding unemployment, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, wage and hour, discrimination, mine and cave safety, and bargaining units for public employees.

About

The Department of Economic Development is a state of Missouri agency that assists in creating jobs and attracting capital investment for economic growth and infrastructure improvements in Missouri. Regional project managers can assist existing business owners with access to the various tax credit and loan programs available through the state.

The department now accepts digital applications for programs.

Each program’s webpage has details of the new process, including login credentials so you can access the secure file transfer system. You can find your program using DED’s program lookup tool.

For programs that require a wet signature, raised seals or other physical documentation, a contingent approval will be granted and further verification provided at a later date.
