KU Innovation Park

KU Innovation Park, with locations at both the University of Kansas Lawrence Campus and Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, is the largest incubator system in the state. It is comprised of three separate facilities totaling approximately 90,000 square feet of wet lab, office space and shared work spaces.

The KU Innovation Park is a not-for-profit economic development organization focused on growing the bioscience and high-tech industry clusters in northeast Kansas. KUIP is a unique partnership among the city of Lawrence, Douglas County, University of Kansas and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, all working together to leverage the region’s economic assets to recruit, retain, create and grow companies and create high-wage jobs. KUIP provides its entrepreneurs and resident companies with the specialized space, resources and support services necessary grow their operations, commercialize new technologies and help build a strong and resilient regional economy.
