The Johnson County Community College Kansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center provides government procurement services to small businesses in over 17 counties in Kansas, including Johnson, Wyandotte, Douglas and Leavenworth.

The JCCC Kansas PTAC provides government procurement services to small businesses in Kansas. Partially funded by a grant from the Defense Logistics Agency, the Kansas PTAC makes the following services available to businesses in Kansas:

  • Bid matching (matching a client’s products/services with what the government is currently buying)
  • Assisting clients to market their products or services to government agencies
  • Access to federal/military specifications and standards
  • Procurement price histories
  • Educational seminars
  • Electronic data interchange services

The Kansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center works with businesses to explore the government marketplace. Through professional consulting and training, business owners learn how to assess and then pursue government contracting opportunities at the federal, state and local levels.
