UMKC Entrepreneurship Scholars Program (E-Scholars)

E-Scholars is an early-stage student entrepreneurial ideation and acceleration program designed to support students and community members in building sustainable and scalable ventures. E-Scholars is designed for community members and UMKC undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of study who seek to launch a new business.

About

Entrepreneurship Scholars (E-Scholars) focuses on early-stage ventures. Most participants begin the program in the idea stage, seeking to launch; some have already begun building their companies and are looking to create a systematic growth plan.

Cohort Philosophy: Progress through the program with a diverse group of entrepreneurial peers made up of UMKC students as well as community members. Entrepreneurship should not be pursued without a network surrounding you, and your cohort will support you as you develop your idea, launch and scale.

Mentor Network: Gain access to the most extensive network of mentors in Kansas City. More than 150 highly successful business leaders, serial entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and founders of globally recognized companies serve as mentors in the program.
