The Wyandotte Economic Development Council is a nonprofit economic development corporation whose mission is to promote and strengthen the county economy through innovative approaches to programs, partnerships, and leadership in industrial, residential, office and retail markets.
YEP
YEP (Young Entrepreneurs Program) is a hands-on summer internship program for high school students that focuses on entrepreneurial thinking and development through practical experience. The working experience and exposure each student acquires during their time with YEP makes this an internship program unlike any other.
YEP KC partners with local high-growth companies in the Kansas City area to offer students opportunities to learn from professionals in a variety of fields, including engineering, marketing, product management, sales, finance and analytics.
