“Do The Right Thing”- A Social Impact Pitch Competition

In Kansas City, Missouri, we are committed to supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs who aim to create a positive influence in their communities. The second phase of our micro-business grants program focused on assisting small businesses with social impact objectives, including advancing health, increasing educational opportunities, promoting equality, and strengthening the local economy. Our goal is to aid for-profit ventures with a public mission, leveraging their innovation and scalability to uplift their communities.
The capital program selection committee has chosen 5 local businesses to present their pitches to our judges:
- The top 5 will have 5-10 minutes for their pitch and Q&A session with the judges.
- Judges will award checks to their preferred small business pitch.
- The Startland News Readers Choice Award will be chosen by its readers.
A total of $50,000 is up for grabs! Who will emerge as the leading social impact business in KCMO?
