DEI has been at the center of many discussions, yet nonprofits are now faced with the need to move to promising practices in their organizations. This session will offer an understanding of the advantages and challenges of instituting diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations. A framework for practicing DEI will be explored, along with practical tools and practices. This initial exploration is an introduction to DEI practice that will culminate in a July 28 day-long workshop leading DEI in Kansas City nonprofits.
