Meet the Featured Guests:
- Mr. Batura is a specialist in developing the Electronic Healthcare System in Ukraine in coordination with the national eHealth and other electronic systems, agencies, and business decisions. Since 2018, he has worked on the EHSU, particularly within EDGE, SURGe (Agriteam Canada Consulting), and USAID Health reform support (Deloitte Consulting). Among the products he has been working on are electronic healthcare inputs of the first medical aid, Digital COVID Certificates, eMedical leave, healthcare conclusions, etc.
- Ms. Boisha’s main goal is the development and further improvement of the processes in the medical sphere, which would result in a new level of qualitative and accessible service equal to Europe. Since 2018, she has actively participated in implementing healthcare reform in Ukraine. She developed and organized training for leadership and representatives of the medical facilities of Ukraine regarding contractual work and implementation of the medical policy in Ukraine.
- Since 2015, Mr. Kopetskyi has been working at the National Cancer Institute. In 2017, he organized a Center for Treating patients with rare peritoneal tumors and ovarian cancer using hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). In 2019-2020, he was a member of the Working group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on drafting the national oncological strategy for 2020-2030. During April-July 2022, he consulted the European Office of the WHO in the Cancer control team at the NCD department.
- As a Chief of the Directorate, Ms. Piniazhko is working on implementing the tools for assessing the health technologies in Ukraine. She supports incorporating scientifically based approaches to evaluating the value of health technologies (including medicines, vaccines, diagnostic, rehabilitation procedures, and programs for civic health) at different stages of the decision-making lifecycle. In addition, she works to improve patient's access to the technologies mentioned above with an acceptable loss-gain ratio and receiving by them added value (improvement of the quality of life) for their health.
- Mr. Lebediev is a practicing anesthesiologist and intensive care doctor. He applies all the methods of pre-surgery preparation, planned and urgent patients, and does all types of anesthesia. In his work, he has improved his skills in emergency medical aid during all types of surgery, neurology, and therapeutic pathologies. He also actively participates in community work by organizing educational and medical conferences and seminars and volunteering at the International Charitable Foundation “Christian Medical Association of Ukraine.”
