Robin Verness Kelly, is certified as a Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence with the American Society for Quality, she is a Certified Investigator for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Developmental Programs, and, she is certified in compliance with the Health Care Compliance Association. Robin, maintains an Independent Consultant business (rverness) since 1992 and is certified with Allegheny County and with the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program, as a Minority Women’s Business Enterprise helping small non-profits with process improvements and providing team-building and leadership training. Ms. Kelly is employed by Wesley Spectrum Services, a Western Pennsylvania based non-profit organization where she holds the position of Vice President, Research, Quality and Compliance. She also serves as the organizations Privacy Officer and Risk Manager. Robin received a Master’s in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University and participated in doctoral studies in Organizational Leadership with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Shobha Mittal is the Director of Quality & Compliance IDD with The Verland Foundation Inc. and has served in the leadership roles in the areas of research, program evaluation, quality and compliance within Southwestern PA region for more than 20 years. Shobha’s passion is to make a difference in the lives of most vulnerable population of children, youth, and the elderly and has worked with the non-profit and government sectors that provide a range of human services. She has extensively helped smaller non-profits in the region with their program evaluation and strategic planning needs. Her eclectic academic and international professional experience has helped in bringing people’s approach in the areas of quality and compliance with a global perspective on what works. Shobha holds a Masters of Public Administration (Gold Medalist) and a Masters of Public Policy Management (Valedictorian). Shobha is a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and volunteers as the Deputy Vice Chair with the ASQ Quality Management Division, Education & Webinars. She has served as an adjunct faculty at the School of Social Work, University of Pittsburgh for the MSW program. Shobha is fluent in four languages and in many dialects and is a trained dancer.
