The KC Chamber and their Access to Capital Taskforce are asking all KC area Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) and their minority clients to join the Connections Reception on Thursday October 27, 4:30pm-6:00pm. Data continuously show that Black and Brown-owned businesses suffer nationwide and in Kansas City from systems that have almost prevented connections between banks and minority business owners. The Chamber Access to Capital Taskforce is working to change this and asks your help to bring your clients and minority business leaders to this October 27 Capital Connections event at the Guadalupe Center. There is no fee to attend, just a concerted focus on connecting minority businesses and area ESOs with lenders throughout our region. The last two Capital Connections events were attended by over 30 bankers from 15 plus lending institutions including banks, credit unions, and CDFIs.
