Marketing with Social and Emotional Intelligence

Tuesday, April 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm • Organized By Nonprofit Connect
Online Event

About

As a savvy marketing professional, you know that emotions drive behavior. Yet, refrarming our marketing materials from informational data-dumps to conversational relationships takes time and intention. Too often, nonprofit marketers spend their time explaining the intricacies of how their programs work instead of inviting the audience into a discussion about the purpose and impact of your programs.

In this 90-minute, dynamic workshop, Kat Anstine, Bound for Growth, will help you build your marketing-with-social-and-emotional-intelligence muscles. Through craft lecture and reflection activities, you'll learn how to form a deeper connection with your audience.

Participants in this session will walk away understanding:

  • Why marketing with social and emotional intelligence is critical to building connection
  • Tangible examples of what social and emotional marketing looks like in the nonprofit world
  • A framework for developing social and emotional marketing content
Marketers, fundraisers, and storytellers of all skill level are welcome at this session.
