National Speaker Series: Reimagining the Nonprofit

Wednesday, April 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm • Organized By Nonprofit Connect
Online Event

About

To make real progress in advancing equity and justice in our communities, funders and nonprofits will need to reimagine how they do the work, who does the work, and how the work is funded.

Join Shari Dunn, MBA and Organizational and Systemic Change consultant, to discover new thinking about the nonprofit sector.

Shari's mantra when it comes to nonprofits is change your thinking, change your life. She will illuminate the history, the challenges, and how staff, funders, and boards can help transform the sector. Shari will explore the concept of 'Trust-Based Philanthropy'  and the role it is currently playing, and must play, to help non-profits step into a more equitable and impactful future.

You will leave this session with fresh ideas and inspiration on:

  • What Trust-Based Philanthropy is and the impact it can have.
  • The steps you can take to move towards a social enterprise model.
  • A better understanding of why we must break from the past and move towards a more equitable future in the non-profit space.
