Overfishing Donors: Donor Fatigue and Sustainable Solutions

Tuesday, January 25 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am • Organized By Nonprofit Connect
Online Event

About

This session looks to the troubling trend in giving: while aggregate giving is up nationally, this is largely driven by wealthy donors with a sizeable decline in middle-class giving. This session applies the lens of ocean fishing in order to understand the dynamic of donor fatigue in our region. More effective fundraising practices are akin to bigger nets and better radar. How can we keep from overfishing our donors? We present a series of promising practices in an effort to open a regional dialogue around how best to nurture our most prized resources: our donors. Session is led by Brent Never, Director of the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership.
