Connections to Capital

Thursday, October 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm • Organized By KC Chamber of Commerce
2000 Vine Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

About

Please join the KC Chamber on Thursday, October 28 from 4-6pm for the first-ever Capital Connections Reception and “meet-n-greet” focused on building connections between lenders, Minority Business Enterprises, area Entrepreneurial Support Organizations and Technical Assistance Organizations. The KC Chamber has been facilitating an Access to Capital Task Force for about a year and one of the key messages we have heard is that technical assistance providers and minority business owners would benefit by improved relations and contacts with banks and credit unions.  The October 28 event will be the first in what we hope will become a quarterly get together. You won’t want to miss this reception at the exciting 2000 Vine complex currently under renovation in the 18th and Vine neighborhood.  2000 Vine will give lenders a great look at the catalytic development happening in our under-resourced community on the east side and the unique funding model used to support this redevelopment of Kansas City’ first (and vacant until 1978) public works buildings.
