A Better Normal: Using Lessons We Learned to Advance a More Equitable Sector and Community

Thursday, September 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm • Organized By Nonprofit Connect
Online Event

About

As more people get vaccinated, we can look forward to things getting back to normal. But "normal" reinforced many ineffective and inequitable things, from the way we do fundraising, to the way we relate to one another, to the way we gate-keep the people most affected by systemic injustice.

We need to consciously create a better normal. What lessons did we learn? What philosophies and practices must we leave behind? How do we do fundraising, power-sharing, decision-making, philanthropy, boards, and advocacy differently? How do we advance equity, diversity, access, and inclusion with more integrity? Let's cut through the BS we endured during the Before Times and unlock our sector's full power.

This is a program of the National Speaker Series.
