How Do Libraries Choose Books?

Tuesday, August 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm • Organized By Square One Small Business Programming by Mid-Continent Public Library
Online Event

About

It’s getting harder and harder to connect library users and independent authors. The primary reason why seems to be that many authors have never been told about the pipeline that gets titles to library bookshelves. “How do libraries choose books?” is both a presentation and a Q&A session designed to help authors understand how library purchasing works and how libraries determine which books to keep. This program is funded by a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
