LaunchU is used in over 100 locations across the U.S. to help entrepreneurs start and grow their business, even when they have little or no business background.
With LaunchU, you will develop a start-up plan that will help you not only start but SUCCEED in business. Registration deadline extended to June 8, 2021, for this 8-week course.
THE 8-WEEK COURSE WILL:
- give you a specific roadmap for starting a business
- expose you to subject matter experts such as accountants, lawyers, marketing experts & more
- challenge you to define and be prepared for the best and worst
- help position you to fund your business help you develop the network of resources and peers a business owner needs
MONDAYS from 6 to 7:30PM on June 14, 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2
- Lectures led by WBC Facilitator
TUESDAYS from 6 to 7PM on June 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27 and August 3
- Participants will meet with their coach to get assistance in small groups.

All paid registrants will be emailed a ZOOM LINK and COURSE MATERIALS will need to be delivered (or picked up) prior to the start of the first class on June 14, 2021.
WBC FACILITATOR
Judy Bumpus, Client Services Manager, Kansas City Women’s Business Center
Judy Bumpus currently serves as Client Services Manager for the Women’s Business Center in Overland Park, Kansas. The WBC helps develop, mentor and fund women-led businesses. In her role, Judy provides counseling services for women entrepreneurs and plans and facilitates training classes to assist starting and growing businesses.
Judy previously owned a consulting company that specialized in business and workforce skills development. Prior to her time operating her own business, she served as the Program Manager with First Step Fund a local microenterprise program. Her responsibilities with First Step Fund included coordination and effective execution of all programs offered, supervision of staff and volunteers, managing training events, including the delivery of content of training, management of micro-loan program, grant program, and development and delivery of peer training in the field of microenterprise development.
