The Emergency Broadband Benefit: What you need to know

Wednesday, April 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am • Organized By Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas CIty
Online Event

About

You're invited to a webinar on the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB), a $3.2 billion program to help cover the cost of internet subscriptions for low-income households and those affected by the pandemic.

The $50-$75 per month subsidy has great potential to help bridge the digital divide. Unfortunately, not everyone that qualifies will know how or where to sign up. Community organizations, digital inclusion coalitions, libraries and schools are some of the groups best positioned to promote the EBB and help qualifying households sign up for service.

Register now to learn what you need to know to help your clients. Sean Davis, Manager of Research and Policy for the National Digital Inclusion Alliance will share the latest developments on the EBB, including information on:

1. Eligibility requirements
2. How to sign up
3. What's covered
4. Program limitations

There is no cost to attend but registration is required.
