Dr. Toni Prawl, a Missouri native, has been active in historic preservation at the local, state, and federal levels for more than thirty years. Once an intern at the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, she became the Director and Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer in 2015. Before joining the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Toni held preservation positions with the Missouri Department of Transportation, the National Park Service (Historic American Buildings Survey), and was a preservation consultant. She is currently serving on the National Historic Landmarks Committee and is a board member of the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers.
