Online Event

About

Are you interested in learning about the impacts of COVID-19 on small businesses of color? Would you like to gain insight into potential paths forward to support these businesses as the economy continues to recover? Join the Atlanta and Kansas City Feds on Thursday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CT) for a discussion with national and southeastern small business experts. We will discuss the Federal Reserve's Small Businesses of Color Recovery Guide as well as implications and opportunities to support these businesses. The guide serves to help support the recovery of small businesses of color by providing readers with a range of ideas in the areas of small business credit and capital, education and training, policy recommendations, and community support.

In this webinar, you will hear the perspectives and strategies bolstering recovery and long-term resilience of small businesses of color. The webinar will feature experts from the Federal Reserve, partner stakeholders, and small business owners. They will provide national and regional perspectives on the state of small businesses of color amid COVID-19 and the pandemic's impact on the future economy. The panelists will discuss emerging strategies and approaches to support an inclusive and resilient recovery for small businesses of color. Janelle Williams, Atlanta Fed Community and Economic Development senior adviser, will moderate this discussion.
