About

Let's brainstorm on art recovery with City In Motion Dance on reestablishing its 35-year old nonprofit school, plus youth and professional companies after the pandemic. They will share their socially-distanced and virtual offerings, plan to re-employ their 30+ dance professionals, and continue to serve 10,000+ /yr with high-quality contemporary dance programming in the Kansas City area.

After CIM's Q&A on recovery, the GUILDit Team will lead a discussion on what others are doing in their recovery efforts.

More … Presenters include Joanna Des Marteau, CIM Artistic Co-Director and Pre-Ballet Technique Instructor. Lydia Knopp is a former Youth Dance Theater member and current Board Secretary at CIM. GUILDit team includes Susana Bruhn, GK Callahan, Natasha Ria El-Scari & Sebastian Smith.
