In the first session of a two-part course, you will learn the types of “remote” and “virtual” work. This course will cover the laws, regulations and policies affecting this working relationship, including employee timekeeping and pay, safety and workers’ compensation, ADA reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, discrimination and harassment, job descriptions, expense reimbursement, data security/confidentiality, performance management and communication, traveling rules, and safeguarding of company equipment and property.
