This workshop is the second in a series of three. Each session includes a combination of dialogue, facilitator-led discussion and group participation. Registrants are strongly encouraged to participate in all three sessions. We welcome individuals, work teams and/or your entire staff to attend. There has never been a more relevant time to help individuals and organizations strengthen their understanding around issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Part 2 – Operationalizing Equity - This workshop asks participants to take an introspective look at themselves and the organizations they serve. The workshop specifically explores the 4 P’s of Equity:
- Pedagogy: What ideologies ground our understanding/your organization’s stance?
- Policies: How has equity or inequity been codified?
- Practice: How do we make decisions and carry out our mission?
- People: Are we, our organizations or our culture inclusive?
