This session will be the first part of a two part series.
The second session will be "Techniques and Tips to Maintain a Positive Mindset Through COVID-19" and will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at noon.
Sessions are led by sports psychology consultant Dr. Linda Sterling, PH.D, CMPC, owner of Sterling Sport Mindset. Dr. Sterling believes the mindset of entrepreneurs is very similar to the mindset of athletes. Both are focused, driven and goal oriented.
Dr. Sterling holds two graduate degrees, a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology. Dr. Sterling served as a college professor for 12 years teaching psychology, counseling, and sport and exercise psychology courses. She developed and directed a master’s program, conducted research, and advised/mentored hundreds of students and student athletes on psychology and life. She holds life and health coach certifications and has earned Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) status through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, which is currently the gold standard for applied sport psychology professionals.
