Join NKCBC for lunch to network with other North Kansas City business leaders and, in the spirit of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, hear different perspectives from some local people about things they are thankful for in North Kansas City in 2019. Speakers will include:

Dr. Dan Clemens, North Kansas City School District Superintendent

Dr. Clemens represents the large footprint of North Kansas City High School and the North Kansas City School District as a whole. Tina Weaver, North Kansas City YMCA Executive DirectorTina represents the large and growing impact of the North Kansas City YMCA as it becomes "the center of the community" rather than just a community center and exercise venue. 

Jay Swearingen

Jay is a long time member of the community who has had an impact on North Kansas City in a variety of ways. Jay's weekly video series "Living in 64116" has shared positive images about more than 2 dozen North Kansas City businesses in 2019. 

Tim and Hollye Parker

Tim and Hollye are new residents of North Kansas City who are starting a new magazine called Northlandia featuring positive stories about North Kansas City, its residents and its businesses.
