Do you have an innovative idea for a business but you're not sure how and where to start assessing your options? Launch U formerly known as Operation First Step FastTrac helps you define and evaluate your business concept. Through our 8-week course, you'll develop a start-up plan that will help you not only start, but succeed in business: Give you a specific roadmap for starting a business; Expose you to subject matter experts such as accountants, lawyers, marketing experts & more; Challenge you to define and be prepared for the best and worst; Help position you to fund your business; Help you develop a network of resources and peers a business owner needs. The Women's Business Center, along with The Kansas Small Business Development Center and the KCK Chamber of Commerce, will host this curriculum starting on Tuesday, October 15, and continuing on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm from October 22-December 10. All interested in enrolling must attend an orientation session on September 10 OR September 24 from 6:00-7:00pm at Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce 727 Minnesota Kansas City, Kansas. This program is offered at a very subsidized rate of $75 to allow individuals who meet low-to-moderate income guidelines to participate.
