Coffee and Discussion at the Commons

Friday, August 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am • Organized By KC Social Innovation Center
1817 Campbell Street, Kansas City, MO 64108

About

Join KCSIC for the final Coffee at The Commons for a tour of our next-generation learning lab folllowed by a panel and discussion with a several of our Project Interns.

***

The Project Commons focuses on students between the ages of 14 and 17 years old. Our goal is to deliver real-world learning experiences in an innovative and collaborative youth-centered space.

The platform is supported by three projects focusing on spatial design, marketing design, and digital communications. Each cohort will be presenting products they have developed during this intensive four week time frame. We invite you to see how we have rethought the design of our space and magnified student voice to best support our new program model. This event concludes our first phase of The Project Commons and will celebrate what the students have been able to learn and achieve.

Please join the discussion with our Project Interns and industry leaders as we explore topics on rethinking learning spaces, co-creating an experiential platform, and scaling through student voice.
