Hear from the Hirer: Fueling Tech Growth with Nontraditional Talent

Wednesday, July 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm • Organized By LaunchCode
8320 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114

The Kansas City tech workforce is growing faster than the national average, but the jobs being created are going unfilled at an alarming rate. The truth is traditional talent pools are simply not deep enough to meet demand from both existing companies and those we're hoping to attract. It's time for a major shake-up in the way our companies recruit, hire and train tech talent.

On July 17, LaunchCode is hosting a panel discussion with HR managers from top KC employers to hear straight from the hirer. We can't have a conversation about economic growth without exploring innovative solutions to fueling our tech ecosystem. And with the tech sector contributing to over $10 billion to the KC community, we simply can't afford not to!

Schedule of Events:

  • 6:00 pm - Doors Open
  • 6:30 pm -7:30 pm - Panel Discussion with Q&A
  • 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm - Mix & Mingle with the Hirers

Heavy snacks and refreshments — beer, soda, water — provided.
