Startups and smaller firms often realize the importance of managing human resources when it is too late. A disgruntled employee, an illegal practice or just poor employee relations can be detrimental to business survival. This workshop describes the critical human resource practices needed at different stages of the business enterprise. Specific attention will be paid to the attraction and retention of quality employees, compensation, performance management and legally required programs. Participants will get the opportunity to ask questions based on their own business needs or issues.
