Kansas City AEI Conference

During the event an overview of the mission of AEI, current and future projects, and Bank On efforts will be discussed. The main session will feature a panel discussion with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau of Kansas City, the Kansas City Police Department, and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whom will inform community leaders on the latest consumer financial crimes, scams, and fraud. Then local financial institutions and a non-profit will have a panel discussion regarding Small Dollar Loan options and Small Dollar Loan alternatives including credit score building programs in the Kansas City Metro. The Main Session includes Speed Networking and Community Impact Acknowledgements.  The breakout sessions will include the following topics and presenters:

 

1. FDIC Money Smart for Adults Credit Workshop

2. Resources to combat Identity Theft

3. Opportunities for CRA credit *For Bankers Only*

4. Building Wealth through Budgeting
