We’re all buyers of products – why do so few of us consider ourselves sellers? What drives revenue: Is it prominent branding? Flashy advertising? Marketing is a discipline and an industry in its own right, but it still only leads customers to you. While most owners and founders know marketing is an essential skill and role, oftentimes they don’t even have a sales strategy, let alone one that fits in their overall marketing plan. At the same time, modern sales professionals have become polarized stereotypes many owners don’t want to emulate or learn from. In this workshop, we will show you how to take ownership of your sales, make a sales plan, and integrate it into your marketing strategy. We’ll explore some of the most effective sales strategies and tactics, practice them, and determine which styles and strategies align best with your business and products. We will also break down many of the myths of sales and salespeople, and show how to effectively build and manage your sales force.
