Last Chance to join us on Friday, April 5 at 8 - 9:30 a.m., for Government Affairs Breakfast hosted by the Grandview and South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. The guest speaker on Economic Development Legislation will be Cathleen Flournoy. 

Cathleen is the Sr. Business and Development Services Specialist for the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City and she is the Legislative Affairs Director, managing economic development legislation for Kansas City, MO at the federal, state and local levels of government. In addition, she focuses on attracting, retaining, and growing businesses within Kansas City, MO while continuing to manage redevelopment projects for the EDC of KC within the fast-growing Kansas City, North. Having worked in the economic development field for 12+ years, she has seen the renaissance of Kansas City through the use of incentive tools allowing for the positive growth throughout the KC-metro area.

Local legislators will be on-hand to provide a brief update.

 

The meeting will be held at the KCPD South Patrol Community Room (9701 Marion Park Dr., KCMO). Park on the west side of the building facing I-49 Highway and enter the double glass doors.

 

A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.  There is no cost to attend, but we kindly request an RSVP by Wednesday, March 27 to plan for the breakfast. Thank you!
