A special Lunch Conversation with Ken Langone

Tuesday, April 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm • Organized By Turman Library Institute
200 W. 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105

Growing up in a blue-collar home and barely scraping together the money to finish college, billionaire and business icon Ken Langone has become an archetype for the American Dream. A co-founder of Home Depot and former director of the New York Stock Exchange, Langone’s story is one of perseverance, intuition and wit.

Langone’s recent book I Love Capitalism: An American Storytells the gripping tale of his unlikely rise and storied career, with inspiring stories from his past coupled with practical lessons for any business person.

Please join the Truman Library Institute for a special luncheon featuring Langone in conversation with David Von Drehle, columnist for The Washington Post, about Langone’s book on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Tickets are required and must be purchased by March 25. Table host opportunities are also available. Ticket includes a three-course meal, access to the program and a signed copy of I Love Capitalism.
