Get the information you need to get your business started. This morning seminar will include talks on business plans, government contracts, funding and marketing issues, as well as networking with local resource organizations that help small businesses. Rebecca Gubbels of the UMKC Small Business and Technology Development Center will introduce us to some of the KC Metro’s new entrepreneurs and their stories of success. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for networking and the program will begin at 9 a.m. Coffee and snacks will be provided. This program is presented by Mid-Continent Public Library’s Square One Small Business Services, the Platte County EDC and the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce. It is funded is by a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
