Business Interruption Means Lost Profits: Can You Afford Downtime?

Monday, November 12 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am • Organized By Precise Operations Management, LLC
300 E 39th St, Room 1K, Kansas City, MO 64111

How to avoid costly downtime and remain resilient before, during and after a business interruption like fire, flood or power outage.

How confident are you that your business could avoid costly downtime and remain resilient before, during and after an interruption like a fire, flood or power outage?  This interactive workshop will help businesses become more aware of how an unforeseen power outage lasting 2-3 days could have a major impact on whether they remain open and financially viable. Forty percent of businesses never reopen after a disaster according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). An average length of an outage is 86 minutes and average cost per incident is $690,204 (that's $7,908 per minute) according to Ponemon Institute 2013. Learn how to identify your risk, develop a comprehensive business continuity plan, and take action to mitigate your risk to remain resilient.
Janet Lockridge, MA is a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, and Safety & Health program development. In addition, Ms. Lockridge has experience in developing workplace exercises/real-life emergency scenarios based on the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). She is passionate about preparedness and strives to ensure that all  businesses can find mitigation solutions to get back to work as quickly as possible.
