The Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit is a practitioner-focused summit designed to help economic development and small business practitioners effectively create economic growth through entrepreneurship in local communities.
This year’s summit is subtitled Entrepreneurship on the Edges, and will focus on providing information and practitioner insight in how to effectively develop disadvantaged urban and rural communities using entrepreneurship led development strategies.
This summit is held in partnership with one regional and three national partners, NetWork Kansas, SourceLink, The Edward Lowe Foundation, and the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship. The first national summit was held in 2016 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City with a capacity attendance of 220. The 2018 summit will also be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City with expected similar attendance.
As a summit, this event focuses on deep level engagement with the professional practitioners attending the event. The objective is to continue to strengthen the field of entrepreneurship led development and entrepreneurship ecosystem building across the nation.
Early Bird registration is $100 through February 21. Full price ticket is $150.
