Present with Intent

Friday, June 30 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm • Organized By Bloch Venture Hub
4328 Madison Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64111

The Pitch. One of the most important moments you get to explain your business and gain an investor, talent, or critical resource to make your venture succeed. You KNOW how important it is to get right, which is why you want to deliver the most polished presentation you possibly can. And we’re going to help you get it there. Join us Tuesday, June 27th from 5-7pm, or Friday, June 30th, from 2-4, at the new Bloch Venture Hub at 4328 Madison Ave. Both days will feature a discussion of presentations in general with an emphasis on delivery techniques. No need to bring a real-world example of something you're working on. We will still walk through the motions of how to work on a pitch in this informal, round table style workshop.

Charlotte Gilman, MBA and local actor, will teach you how to gauge and engage your audience by helping customize your presentation based on you, your business, or whomever you're trying to reach. She graduated UMKC with a BA in Theatre Performance, BBA in Business Management, MBA in General Management, and spent four years tutoring at the Bloch Communication Center. Currently, she works on the Media Relations team for local non-profit theatre, OCTA, and is pursuing her Teaching Certification via the School of Graduate Studies
